Setup Print Preparation Sheet

After the sheet has been created, the settings can be adjusted by using the Setup sheet tool. Select a new size from the Sheet Size list. These sizes are from the file defined by the variable MS_GEOPRINTPREP_SHEETDEFS and are located by default at C:/Program Files/Bentley/PrintPreparation/defaults/sheetsizes.def.

Orientation defines Landscape or Portrait orientation for the sheet.

Design refers to the layout of the page:

Sheet Only — Only the sheet boundary as defined in the sheet model properties is displayed.
Sheet and Standard Border — Displays a list of borders to be placed in the template model. This list comes from a DGNLIB pointed to by the MS_GEOPRINTPREP_SHEETSIZESDGNLIB. By default this points to a file called sheetsizes.dgnlib in C:/Program Files/Bentley/PrintPreparation/defaults. To provide your own list of standard borders, define this variable to point to your own DGNLIB.
Sheet and Printable Area — Displays the printable area as a line string in the print model according to the form size selected from the currently active printer.

Note: Placing the standard border and printable area will place geometry in the file. These elements can be deleted with the Delete Element command.
